Local public transport in the Chinese city of Heze, Shandong Province, is going electric. One hundred ten-metre Zhongtong buses of the new electric series have arrived and are now in operation, providing an environmentally friendly transport service for citizens, as Chinabuses.org reports.

The new buses are equipped with Zhongtong’s U-Link Intelligent Operation Systems technology, which allows real-time monitoring of passenger flow data and traffic conditions, helping bus operators to better manage their fleet. In addition, vehicle operation and energy consumption are constantly monitored, fully ensuring its safe and smooth operation.

Established in 2018, Heze Intercity Public Transport Co., Ltd. now provides transport services for 80% of passengers travelling between Heze and neighbouring counties.
